Intermodal transports from Finland to Europe and from Europe to Finland

The term intermodal transportation refers to transport of large unit loads that involve at least two different modes of transportation – in our case, it’s road and rail transport. It is an economical transport option, particularly on routes where railways cover a significant portion of the journey.

Most of our curtain trailers can be loaded onto a train. At the same time, the maximum loading capacity of the trailer rises from 24 tonnes to 28 tonnes, which is one-sixth greater. This improves the cost-efficiency of this mode of transportation. Rail transport is also often a more ecological option than road transport, resulting in lower emissions in intermodal transportation when compared to road traffic.

We take care of the entire intermodal transportation process and ensure that your cargo reaches its destination safely and right on schedule.
